ABOUT
Will’s Real Estate practice involves helping buyers, sellers, owners, developers, lenders, landlords and tenants with all types of properties, including office, retail, and industrial properties, and undeveloped land. He assists individual investors and businesses acquire, manage, lease, and sell properties, and negotiate licenses and easements, and analyze title matters.
A particular focus of Will’s Real Estate practice is the negotiation of commercial leases of all types. And given his litigation experience, he is experienced in handling the types of problems that arise in the real estate world – landlord-tenant disputes, owner-lender disputes, default scenarios, and commercial tenant bankruptcies to name a few.
And since the acquisition of real estate often necessitates business sense, Will’s practice also includes Business Counsel Services, helping clients structure the ownership and management of their assets with entity creation and general business counseling.
Having grown up on a ranch in West Texas, and having lived in Mexico and traveled throughout Central and South America, Will is fluent in Spanish and brings a unique perspective to his job as a Dallas attorney. His hobbies include reading, drawing, college football, hiking, camping, and generally spending time outdoors. He also enjoys traveling abroad to meet new people and experience different cultures, languages, and food.
Will Bassham focuses his legal practice on commercial real estate – the buying, selling, development, management and leasing of commercial property. As a transactional real estate attorney who also has a litigation background, he is well suited to help clients successfully complete and document deals, while also protecting clients from the pitfalls of litigation.
