SettlePou’s Private Business group assists a new company with all legal issues that confront a new business. The group works closely with accountants and other service providers to ensure that the business is formed and set up to operate efficiently. The group assists in addressing investor issues and investor agreements, as well as designing, building, and implementing the optimum entity model for the new business. The group further counsels new companies in establishing employee policies and preparing employment agreements. The group also assists in setting up the agreements between the owners of the new company, including shareholder agreements, buy/sell agreements, and operating agreements.
