Gary Lykins is also a Life Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation, having been elected as a Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation in 1993.
Gary Lykins is an attorney with a broad range of experience handling a variety of matters throughout his more than 37-year legal career. His experience includes representations of individuals, businesses, employers, trucking companies, restaurants, product manufacturers, retailers, real-estate developers, insureds, insurers, various professionals (e.g., physicians, dentists, nurses and hospitals) and an organ procurement organization (organ transplant litigation).
As a neutral and mediator, Gary Lykins is a “peacemaker” who encourages frank and direct dialogue and the exchange of information and ideas between parties and their counsel to look for ways to achieve resolutions of disputes that may otherwise seem impossible to resolve. Mr. Lykins is available to assist individuals and businesses involved in litigation (or pre-litigation matters) as a mediator (or via other forms of alternative dispute resolution) and offers such services both in person and via means of remote technology.
As an advocate and practicing attorney, Mr. Lykins believes in early and effective investigation and evaluation. He is an “issue-spotter” who can help focus in on critical issues may impact outcomes of matters. He provides his clients with frank, candid and timely advice in collaboration with them to achieve their goals. He believes communication is extremely important and strives toward maintaining open lines of communication with his clients, opposing counsel and the judiciary to achieve client goals in the most efficient manner possible.
Mr. Lykins is licensed to practice in state court throughout Texas and is also licensed to practice in state court throughout Oklahoma. He is also admitted to practice before each of the four United States District Courts in Texas — namely, the Northern, Eastern, Western and Southern Districts of Texas and is also to practice before the United States District Court for the Western District of Oklahoma . Mr. Lykins is also admitted to practice before the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and also before the Supreme Court of the United States.
