Charles Murnane
ABOUT
When he isn’t pursuing litigation and looking for assets to recover, Charles enjoys spending his time with his family, trying out new recipes and cuisine while in search of the perfect pork pastor, hiking in the Texas Hill Country, enjoying activities on Lake Travis. He devotedly follows college and NFL football, particularly the Texas Longhorns, but has been abstaining from joining any more fantasy leagues for the past few years out of consideration for everyone around him.
Charles’ legal practice is primarily centered on bankruptcy, creditors’ rights, and commercial litigation. He has represented businesses and individuals regarding breach of contract claims with a focus on recovery of assets, creditor representation related to debt obligations, and real estate litigation. In bankruptcy proceedings he represented trustees, creditors, and debtors. His legal career has taken him to a wide variety of local, state, and federal courts across Texas and beyond, although most of his work has been in South, Central, and North Texas, running the Golden Triangle of the DFW-Austin/San Antonio. These days he is based out of the Austin area but looks forward to always visiting another part of the state he hasn’t seen.
