Gabriel Rauen
ABOUT
Gabriel was born and raised in Corpus Christi, Texas. Fascinated by American history and the nation’s development, he developed an early interest in the intersection of business and law. He attended Southern Methodist University where he received his Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance with a Minor in History in 2022, graduating with Honors in the Liberal Arts. Thereafter, Gabriel obtained his Doctor of Jurisprudence from Texas A&M University School of Law in 2025.
During law school, Gabriel gained valuable experience through a variety of clerkships. He began his legal career as a summer clerk to former Justice Gina Benavides on the Texas Thirteenth Court of Appeals. In addition to judicial experience, Gabriel has clerked under in-house counsel for a major Texas-based healthcare system, and also with private firms, specializing in transactional practices including commercial real estate, corporate, estate planning, and employment matters. Additionally, Gabriel served as a student-attorney through the Tax Dispute Resolution Clinic at Texas A&M University School of Law.
Outside of work, Gabriel enjoys spending time with family and friends. A lifelong student of history, he continues to explore current and historical events, geography, and community development. He stays active through weight and cardio training. He is also active in his local church, St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Dallas, Texas, as well as with the broader Catholic community of DFW.
Gabriel joined SettlePou in 2025 as an Associate in the Commercial Lending Practice following his graduation from Texas A&M University School of Law.
