SettlePou is pleased to announce that our Firm is a proud sponsor of the University of Texas at Dallas 2018 Naveen Jindal School of Management’s Scholarship Breakfast. Since its launch in 2009, the UTD Scholarship Breakfast has raised nearly $700,000 in scholarship funding for the benefit of Jindal School students. On November 6, 2018, members of SettlePou’s real estate team represented the Firm at the Scholarship Breakfast that was held in honor of Dallas real estate icon, Herbert Weitzman and his wife, Donna Weitzman. About 500 guests attended the event, at which Jindal School Dean Hasan Pirkul announced the Weitzmans’ $3 million gift to the school to establish the Herbert D. Weitzman Institute for Real Estate. Mr. Weitzman said his goal in creating the institute was to empower students from all socioeconomic backgrounds to consider real estate as a career option and to offer them the academic support and tools they need. SettlePou is delighted to donate to the scholarship fund and thanks the Weitzmans for all they have done for our community.
